In order to efficiently promote export business, maintain stability and improve quality, and actively deploy overseas market expansion with a sense of urgency, to seek new opportunities, expand markets, and promote growth, Red Sun Group recently sent a number of business backbones to participate in the 2024 AgrochemBIZ Ethiopia Agrochemical Trade Exhibition, aiming to continuously increase Red Sun Group's overseas influence.
Ethiopia, a vitally important economy in East Africa and even whole Africa, relies on agriculture as its pillar industry, which accounts for 41.4% of its GDP. Since 2003, agricultural investment has accounted for 14.7% of the total government expenditure. Ethiopia boasts vast arable land resources (51.3 million hectares) and imports over 10,000 tons of agrochemicals annually, primarily from China and India. Therefore, Ethiopia's pesticide market holds enormous potential.
The exhibition, held in Addis Ababa from May 21st to 23rd, attracted over 500 pesticide industry professionals to discuss the future of the agrochemical industry. Numerous local exhibitors and buyers, including renowned pesticide buyer Lions International, visited the Red Sun booth for discussions.
During the exhibition, the Red Sun sales team had in-depth exchanges with customers, obtained first-hand market information about Ethiopia, and introduced to customers in detail how Red Sun has used "biotechnology + digitalization" to transform traditional industries over the past 35 years. Through the implementation of measures such as "focusing on core businesses, extending and strengthening supply chains, transforming waste into treasure, pursuing green and low-carbon development, and embracing innovation", it has created a chain of "six major" twin strategic new industrial cluster advantage products, and reached a series of major scientific and technological achievements such as the industrialization of "hundreds of" bio-enzyme engineering technologies related to the main business, fully demonstrating the advantages of the Red Sun industrial chain, and actively showing Red Sun's responsibility to serve the world's work related to agriculture, rural areas and rural residents and the new contributions made to the national "aid to Africa" projects and the construction of the "Belt and Road Initiative".
During discussions with customers, the Red Sun sales team conducted in-depth discussions on core topics such as registration management and R&D innovation, actively developing customized product solutions tailored to the needs of local small and medium-sized customers. Furthermore, many local buyers expressed high expectations for our company's key green, high-end patented products, such as glufosinate-ammonium, chlorantraniliprole, and diquat dichloride, and they hoped that registration could be completed quickly to bring these products to market. By focusing on strengthening and supplementing supply chains, we are actively and effectively addressing bottlenecks in stabilizing foreign trade. We are strategically planning to "retain customers, secure markets, expand sales, and facilitate transactions," working with local buyers to explore market opportunities and deepen long-term strategic supply chain cooperation, laying a solid foundation for high-quality development of foreign trade.
The longer the journey, the stronger the people; the wider the sea, the higher the sails. Facing new opportunities and challenges, Red Sun International Trade will take this exhibition as an opportunity to continue leveraging the advantages of its six strategic twin new industrial clusters: focusing on the core business, extending the supply chain to strengthen the core business, turning waste into treasure, transforming the secondary business into a strong one, green recycling, innovating in the track, and strengthening the secondary business and the core business. The company will expand overseas markets with greater efforts, accelerate the integration of sales and business resources with greater efficiency, and provide tremendous support for the world's work related to agriculture, rural areas and rural residents, global ecology, and human health with a stronger sense of mission.
